April 11 is World Parkinson’s Awareness Day, and to highlight this day, we wanted to share with you some of the many activities, events and services available to the Parkinson’s community. 

At Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC), we believe every person touched by Parkinson’s deserves to know that they are not alone in their journey. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is committed to offering support, sharing reliable information and raising funds for programs and research. We are grateful to be a part of a strong community united in our dedication to improve the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s.

How to get involved…

  • Support our This is Parkinson’s disease campaign by placing posters around your community or sharing it with your social networks.
  • Become a Champion for Parkinson’s and arrange a fundraiser to benefit PSBC in your community.
  • Improve your well-being by committing to an exercise regime through The Parkinson’s Movement.
  • Become a member of PSBC and receive a variety of benefits including a subscription to our quarterly newsletter Viewpoints.
  • Help advocate for the issues that matter most to the Parkinson’s community by becoming an Advocacy Ambassador.
