The KC Memorial Golf Tournament has been a powerful tradition of remembrance and generosity—uniting friends, family, and supporters each year to honour the life of KC. KC was a calm, kind-hearted man who brought warmth to everyone he encountered. He was the kind of person who took time to ask how you were—always with a genuine smile. A devoted husband and father, KC was deeply rooted in his community, and his loss in 2020 left a profound void for all who knew him.

Out of grief grew purpose. For five years, KC’s family and friends have channelled their love and loss into something deeply meaningful. The tournament has raised over $160,000 for charitable causes:

  • 2021 – BC Children’s Hospital (Diabetes Clinic): $18,000
  • 2022 – BC Cancer Foundation: $72,000
  • 2023 – Canadian Mental Health Association BC: $40,000
  • 2024 – Autism Speaks Canada: $30,000
  • 2025 – Parkinson Society British Columbia: TBD

Now, as the fifth and final tournament approaches, the event’s legacy continues—supporting Parkinson Society BC and its mission to provide vital programs and services to the 17,500 people in BC living with Parkinson’s disease.

This last round isn’t just a day on the course. It’s a celebration of community, a tribute to KC’s generous spirit, and a reminder of the impact one life—and one family’s love—can have. Let’s come together to make this final tournament a heartfelt send-off for a man who meant so much to so many.
