Zumba® Gold Seated (Level 1)
It’s time to Zumbbbaa! Add some music and movement to your day with our Zumba® Gold Seated exercise class. This adapted Zumba® class is inclusive of all mobility and balance abilities and introduces easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography. No dance experience is needed and there are no wrong moves!
Instructor: Maybelin Munoz
Maybelin has been a Zumba® instructor since 2015, teaching Zumba®, Zumba® Toning, Zumba® Gold, and Zumba® Golden Chair in various communities. She is originally from Mexico where dancing is a large part of the culture and traditions. She believes a healthy life comes from finding enjoyment in life through music and dance. Maybelin looks forward to bringing a positive and fun energy to the Parkinson’s community.

Parkinson Society BC’s exercise programs are promoted with an assigned level of difficulty. Below you will find a description of each level.
| Level 1 |
Slow-paced, low-intensity, and low-impact class. Suitable for all levels of ability, especially those new to exercise and prefer a gentler approach. |
| Level 2 | Moderately-paced and moderate-intensity class. Suitable for those who are looking for a progression from Level 1. |
| Level 3 |
Fast-paced and high-intensity class for those who are looking for a challenge. Participants must be able to safely participate without a carepartner/caregiver present. |
