Summer Social: Improv for Parkinson’s
Summer Social: Improv for Parkinson’s
Creativity, connection, and laughter are powerful tools for well-being – and this summer, we’re bringing them together in a fun and uplifting virtual social!
Join us for our Summer Social: Improv for Parkinson’s, a special interactive session with the team from Improv for Work and Wellness designed to introduce participants to improvisation while exploring how improv skills can support life with Parkinson’s. In a relaxed and welcoming environment, we’ll build community, learn new skills, work together, and share plenty of laughs along the way.
Improv encourages quick thinking, adaptability, communication, and confidence – all in a playful, low-pressure setting. The activities are accessible, engaging, and adaptable for people living with Parkinson’s at various stages. Family members and care partners are warmly encouraged to attend, as many of the games can easily be continued at home for ongoing connection and fun.
This session will be held virtually, allowing you to join from the comfort of your own home. Whether attending solo or with a loved one, this is a wonderful opportunity to try something new, connect with others in the Parkinson’s community, and celebrate summer with creativity, laughter and joy.
We look forward to seeing you there!
