Mindfulness Mondays
Take a mindful moment for yourself! Join Registered Clinical Counsellor Sara for a relaxing, bi-weekly virtual mindfulness session designed for anyone living with or affected by Parkinson’s disease. Through the combination of motor and non-motor symptoms, Parkinson’s disease can impact our emotional wellbeing. Additionally, the stressors and complex emotions that caregivers experience can affect the caregiver’s emotional health. These 30-minute guided sessions are a casual and supportive way to start your week, come to every session or drop in when you can, all are welcome!
Through gentle mindfulness practices, you’ll learn strategies to:
•Cultivate calm and self-awareness
•Manage stress and enhance emotional well-being
•Focus on the present moment without judgment
•Practice gratitude and self-compassion
•Bring mindfulness into everyday life
Whether you’re new to mindfulness or simply need a reset, this class offers a peaceful space to regularly reconnect and recharge.
