Communication and Swallow Workshop – Surrey

October 18 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm PDT

Join registered speech-language pathologist Jasmine Cload for this interactive, hands-on workshop exploring the communication and swallowing challenges that can affect people with Parkinson’s.

The workshop uses methods from the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment®, which have been clinically proven to enhance communication for individuals with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions. Participants will learn strategies to address issues such as disordered articulation, diminished facial expression, and impaired swallowing.

It is open to those already experiencing these difficulties, as well as those who wish to take a proactive approach. If you are not currently experiencing difficulties, participation may help reduce stress, frustration, and complications in the future.

Pre-workshop requirement: Participants will be asked to complete a questionnaire prior to the event.

Please note that a catered lunch will be provided at the event. If you have any dietary restrictions due to allergy, please contact us by October 3.

Secure your spot early! Registration will close on October 3 at 12:00pm.
