On July 23, members of the Sparwood community came together in memory of Joe Tracey for the First Annual Sparwood Parkinson’s Golf Tournament. Organized by Merl Shelley and a team of dedicated individuals, the tournament surpassed anticipated proceeds to raise $5,260 for Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC). Merl knew Joe through the Sparwood Support Group for people affected by Parkinson’s disease (PD).
