Understanding Disability-Related Financial Supports

July 30 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm PDT
Virtual Event

Presented by Disability Alliance of BC (DABC)

Navigating financial support programs can be overwhelming but understanding them can make a meaningful difference. Join Disability Alliance of BC (DABC) for an informative session designed to help individuals living with disabilities better understand key financial programs and how to access them.

This session will cover:

  • What the Disability Tax Credit (DTC) is and who is eligible
  • How the Canada Disability Benefit (CDB) works and how to apply
  • How the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) can help build long-term financial security
  • Application steps and answers to common questions

You’ll also learn how qualifying for the DTC can open the door to additional benefits such as the Canada Workers Benefit Disability Supplement and the Child Disability Benefit.

Whether you’re living with Parkinson’s or supporting someone who is, this session will provide valuable guidance on financial tools that can offer greater stability and peace of mind.
