Parkinson Society British Columbia recognizes that Parkinson’s disease affects not only those diagnosed but also their families and friends. This webinar series is designed to support caregivers by offering valuable information and tools to help manage the challenges and stress associated with caregiving.

We invite all caregivers to join this series and encourage participants to bring their questions, as each session will include time for Q&A and discussion.

Please note that separate registration is required for each session.

Session 2: Navigating Caregiving as a Couple: Real-Life Experiences and StrategiesAhava Shira, and Michelle Heath

Join us for this interactive Q&A session featuring a panel of couples actively engaged in caregiving, facilitated by Parkinson Society British Columbia’s social worker, Corrina Masson. This discussion will explore how couples manage the complexities of caregiving while maintaining their relationships and individual well-being. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear firsthand about strategies for navigating dual roles and can ask questions about balancing caregiving responsibilities with a shared life.
