Deliverability Tips

Email providers like Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, and Apple Mail use automated filtering systems to protect you from unwanted or potentially harmful messages. These systems scan incoming emails and may occasionally flag legitimate messages as Spam or Junk — even when they come from trusted organizations.

Emails from Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC) may be redirected to Spam for several reasons, including:

  • You haven’t previously opened or replied to emails from us

  • Our email address is not saved in your contacts

  • Your email settings are set to strict filtering

  • You recently changed devices or email providers

  • Large email campaigns (such as updates about Parkinson SuperWalk or programs) can sometimes trigger automated filters

If this happens, you may miss important information about programs, services, events, advocacy updates, and resources.

To ensure you continue receiving important updates, please take a moment to add us to your Safe Sender list using the instructions below.
