Your donation will help provide vital programs and services to the 17,500 people living with Parkinson’s disease in British Columbia, and their loved ones.
Whether your vehicle is gently used or no longer running, it still has value. Free towing is available in most regions across Canada—or, if you prefer, you can drop your vehicle off to help maximize your donation. Once received, your vehicle will either be sold at auction or recycled responsibly. Either way, your generosity will go a long way.

What Can I Donate?
Donate a Car Canada accepts a wide range of vehicles, including:

Cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs

Motorcycles and trailers

Boats and RVs (some conditions apply)
To qualify, vehicles must be registered in Canada and in complete condition (no major parts missing). We also accept vehicles with body damage and those that haven’t run in years. However, vehicles with liens, insurance claims, or without proof of ownership cannot be accepted.

Once submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the next steps. Towing is typically arranged within 48 hours.
Drop-Off Option Available
Want to make your donation go even further? If you’re able to drop off your vehicle, you’ll eliminate towing costs, allowing a greater portion of the proceeds to support PSBC’s work.
Tax Receipt & Impact
You will receive a charitable tax receipt issued by Parkinson Society British Columbia once your vehicle has been processed. The amount is based on the sale or recycling value of the vehicle, and receipts are typically sent within six weeks.
