Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC) seeks to honour members of the Parkinson’s community who actively engage in volunteering opportunities with PSBC, including leading, facilitating, or supporting the delivery of education events, support groups, exercise classes, fundraising initiatives, and/or Parkinson SuperWalk. These individuals exemplify the spirit of going above and beyond, demonstrating a commitment to celebrating each day with joy, compassion, and understanding.

Their actions serve as inspiring examples of how individuals affected by Parkinson’s can lead fulfilling lives, creating new opportunities and nurturing relationships beyond what they may have thought possible prior to a diagnosis.

PSBC invites nominations for these exceptional individuals to be recognized at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Through this process, we aim to showcase their remarkable contributions and share their inspiring stories with the wider community.

Please take the opportunity to nominate someone from your community whose involvement in volunteering with Parkinson Society BC embodies the “Above and Beyond” philosophy in their daily life.

Nominations for these awards close Monday, March 30, 2026 at 12:00pm PST.
