Join us for an interactive workshop led by registered speech-language pathologist Jasmine Cload, focusing on the communication and swallowing challenges often faced by people with Parkinson’s. This workshop is open to those currently experiencing these challenges, as well as those looking to address them proactively.
The workshop utilizes methods from the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment® (LSVT), which have been clinically proven to improve communication for individuals with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions.
Even if you are not currently experiencing communication or swallowing difficulties, participating in this workshop can help you reduce stress, frustration, and potential complications in the future. For those currently facing these issues, this session offers evidence-based tools to address common problems like disordered articulation, diminished facial expression, and impaired swallowing.
Participants will need to watch a pre-workshop webinar and complete a questionnaire before the event. These materials will be provided via email after registration.
Please note that a catered lunch will be provided at the event. If you have any dietary restrictions due to allergy, please contact Kelly Felgenhauer by October 18.
Registration for this event is now closed.
