Each session includes:\n•Warm-Up: Connection and breathwork\n•Yoga Poses: Seated and standing\, using a chair for support\n•Mindfulness: Affirmations and meditation\n•Rest: Guided savasana \nUsing the support of a chair\, this class encourages independence while promoting safe\, mindful movement. \nWho Is This For?\nThis class is ideal for individuals seeking a supportive\, accessible yoga practice that builds functional strength and emphasizes the body-mind connection. \nAbout the Instructor\nDanya Nonis is a yoga teacher and certified C-IAYT yoga therapist. She has experience working with individuals with neurological conditions\, including Parkinson’s disease\, in movement-based programs and continues to train in specialized techniques. Her trauma-informed\, pain-aware teaching style supports individuals in finding comfort and ease in both body and mind. \n\n\n\n\n\nParkinson Society BC appreciates all gifts\, as they allow us to continue to offer programs people with Parkinson’s disease and their carepartners rely on.
