Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC) strives to offer an array of programs and services that benefit the Parkinson's community. One program that helps the community, regardless of location, is PDLink, a peer support program for people with Parkinson's and carepartners. These individuals are linked to volunteers in similar situations so they can speak either by email or phone. There is no face-to-face interaction in PDLink.

A current participant says:
"My hope was [to find someone through PDLink] that would understand. John* was incredible to talk to and he has told me that I ended up [...] helping him as much as he helped me. We could relate to each other. I think the program is fantastic [for making] more connections".

PDLink is actively recruiting more people with Parkinson's and carepartners across British Columbia and the Yukon.
