In 2017, Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC), in partnership with the Parkinson's Foundation, made Aware in Care  kits available to British Columbians affected by Parkinson's disease (PD). These kits can be used as tools to help people with Parkinson's and carepartners inform medical staff about Parkinson's disease, including the importance of receiving medications on time. Designed for use in a hospital setting, each kit includes:

• a bag
• a hospital action plan
• a Parkinson's disease ID bracelet
• a medical alert card
• a medication form
• a PD fact sheet
• "I have PD" reminder slips
• "I have PD" poster
• a magnet 
• a thank you card 

For individuals who are not members with PSBC, the kits cost $25. Shipping and handling are an additional $15. 

Aware in Care kits are FREE to current PSBC members. Shipping and handling cost $15.

If you live in the Lower Mainland, you may pick-up your kit and the shipping and handling cost will be waived.
