In response to the global outbreak of COVID-19, Parkinson Society BC has been taking proactive measures to manage the potential for transmission. As such, staff are now working remotely until further notice. We remain committed to serving the Parkinson’s community, and have made many of our programs and services available online.

Information and referrals consultations will be available by phone or email until further notice. Staff members will be answering calls as usual and can be reached at 604-662-3240 or 1-800-668-3330. If you are unable to reach someone immediately, please leave a message with your name and phone number and staff will return your call as soon as possible. Phone extensions and individual contact information is available in our staff listings.

For the most up-to-date information, please visit this PSBC web page. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@parkinson.bc.ca. We thank you for your patience during this time.

Individuals with Parkinson's, their caregivers and family members often find it helpful to talk with someone about their challenges. When you call PSBC, you will speak with compassionate staff who will provide you with information and community resources; help you to understand the health care system; and help you with problem solving and short-term planning.

You may need support with:

  • Understanding your diagnosis
  • Workplace uncertainties
  • Telling family and friends
  • Questions about the future
  • Advancing illness
  • Caregiving stress, questions and concerns

You are not alone. We are here for you. Email or call us at 1-800-668-3330 to set up a consultation.
